Do you provide full day Kindergarten?
We are committed to transitioning our scholars seamlessly through their progressions, from Kindergarten through graduation! For the second half of the upcoming school year, it is our intent to extend the school day of our Kindergarten scholars by 2.5 hours, in order to best prepare them for their first grade year.
Here’s how this works:
1. Semester 1 (August to January)
Kindergarten classes will be either am kinder (7:30-11:30) or pm kinder (12:00-4:00)
Class sizes will be significantly reduced fostering intense instruction in both academics and school appropriate behavior.
2. Semester 2 (January to June)
Both am and pm kinder classes will merge into a modified full-day schedule, (7:30-2:00) building their stamina while still remaining developmentally appropriate to their needs.
Scholars will remain with their same Kindergarten teacher just participate in a longer day with more friends.
Kindergarten scholars will be able to more fully participate in school-wide activities such as Kudos, Lunch, and Lunch Recess, helping them learn the procedures for each of these and easing the transition into 1st grade.
3. Extended Care Options
Paid extended care options will be available for parents. More information will be available upon enrollment.
